Spaghetti Bolognese

  • Ingredients:
    • 1 pound ground beef
    • 1 onion, chopped
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 can crushed tomatoes
    • 1/4 cup tomato paste
    • 1/2 cup red wine
    • 1 teaspoon dried basil
    • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • 8 ounces spaghetti
  • Instructions:
    1. In a large skillet, cook ground beef, onion, and garlic until beef is browned. Drain excess fat.
    2. Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, red wine, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper.
    3. Simmer uncovered for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    4. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions.
    5. Serve the spaghetti with the Bolognese sauce on top.
